About the role

  • Design and deliver regular group sessions and workshops aimed at strengthening staff resilience and effective communication with conflict-affected populations and families of the missing.
  • Develop and facilitate thematic trainings on topics such as stress management, coping with secondary trauma, maintaining professional boundaries, and supporting others in grief.
  • Provide guidance and practical tools to enhance staff capacity for empathetic, clear, and context-sensitive communication with diverse stakeholders, including representatives of national authorities and civil society.
  • Collaborate with ICMP management and relevant teams to ensure that wellbeing and resilience activities are aligned with organizational priorities and responsive to staff needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ICMP’s wellbeing strategy and internal support mechanisms, and provide recommendations on integrating wellbeing and resilience principles into staff induction, supervision, and team meetings.
  • Prepare brief reports and recommendations summarizing the activities conducted, participant feedback, and suggestions for further wellbeing and resilience initiatives.

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in psychology, counselling, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in providing psychological support, resilience-building, or psychosocial training in humanitarian, development, or organizational settings.
  • Proven experience in designing and facilitating group sessions or workshops on wellbeing, stress management, communication, or related topics.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the impact of conflict, trauma, and loss on individuals and teams, and ability to apply this knowledge in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Experience working with conflict-affected or trauma-exposed team, preferably in international or multicultural environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Ukrainian (oral and written).
