• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for MRO, capital equipment (CapEx), precision metal machine tooling, and facilities support services supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Lead RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to optimize cost, lead time, quality, and total cost of ownership.
• Drive supply base optimization, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation across global manufacturing sites by leading cost reduction initiatives using should-cost analysis, total cost modeling, and value engineering.
• Implement supply chain improvements such as VMI, Kanban, and demand-driven replenishment programs to improve supply continuity and working capital efficiency.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships with global suppliers.
• Drive supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, business reviews, audits, and improvement plans to ensure quality, delivery, and capacity alignment with semiconductor manufacturing requirements.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and facilities teams to identify cost reduction, value engineering, and supplier capability improvements supporting high-mix, low-volume semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
• Manage sourcing for industrial MRO supplies, spare parts, cleanroom consumables, facility maintenance services, and manufacturing equipment.
• Support capital investment initiatives by sourcing manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility infrastructure aligned with project schedules and budgets.

Global Supply Chain Manager – Tooling, MRO

Hardware Engineer

• Automate firmware deployment pipelines using gRPC and Python-based automation tools
• Develop self-contained executables for seamless integration into CI/CD build server environments
• Establish automated test criteria to evaluate and report the health of branch commits and merges
• Optimize testing throughput by evaluating and implementing parallel execution of hardware devices
• Design "Software in the Loop" (SIL) interfaces to decouple firmware development from physical hardware
• Build out plant simulators to model physical variables like pressure and temperature
• Develop lightweight data logging and reporting interfaces for SPI traffic and system test results
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement nonlinear mathematical models into simulation environments

Firmware Engineering Intern

• The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless execution within the assigned area of Ichor’s supply chain.
• Will participate in setting the strategic direction of the supply chain organization and drive continuous improvements that exceed internal and external customer expectations.
• Develops and executes commodity strategies specific to EMS suppliers including PCB fabrication, PCBA, and cable/wire harness assemblies.
• Leads supplier selection and consolidation across EMS partners, including contract manufacturers and direct suppliers.
• Evaluates supplier technical capabilities including DFM/DFX, test strategies, and manufacturing process controls for PCB and cable assemblies.
• Drives should-cost modeling and cost breakdown analysis for PCB (layer count, materials, yield) and cable assemblies (labor content, connectors, routing complexity).
• Manages key supplier relationships, focusing on cost optimization, continuity of supply and resolution of problems.
• Ensures adequate capacity and scalability within EMS suppliers, including fabrication, assembly, and test capacity for PCBAs and cable assemblies, aligning forecasts and managing lifecycle (NPD to EOL).
• Implements Demand Driven MRP (DDMRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts, including analysis, coordinates ERP system setup, and ensures contractual alignment.
• Oversees supplier management process, improving key supplier performance metrics through audits, qualifications, scorecards, and improvement plans.
