About the role
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees in Germany, managing HR queries and lifecycle events in line with global standards.
- Own local onboarding, relocation, and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with German labor law and a high-quality employee experience.
- Manage local HR vendors and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong data integrity in HR systems.
- Handle employee relations cases and advise the local CEO, escalating complex topics to Global HR when needed.
Requirements
- **What we’re looking for**
- **Must haves:**
- Strong working knowledge of German labor law and local HR practices, with experience creating compliant policies and documentation.
- Hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and vendor management.
- Proven ability to handle employee relations cases with sound judgment and discretion.
- Fluency in English and German, with strong communication skills across local and global stakeholders.
- **Nice to haves:**
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ticketing systems such as HiBob.
- Experience supporting fast-scaling or high-growth environments.
