About the role
- Ensure service levels to advisors are maintained
- Process all changes submitted by an advisor for inforce life insurance policies
- Assume ownership of assigned files and assist in problem resolution
- Anticipate the needs of advisors related to policy changes
- Act as the key resource and contact for insurance carriers
- Maintain compliance and timely processing of policy changes
- Respond to inquiries from servicing advisors and insurance carriers
- Follow up on all outstanding requirements for policy changes
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the insurance industry
- Industry designation(s) (FLMI, ACS, AIAA) desirable
- Knowledge of life insurance terminology and products preferred
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Proven accuracy, attention to detail and data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Knowledge of WealthServ, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bilingualism in English and French considered an asset
