About the role
- Lead and manage the Global Fixed Income & Credit Team, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall investment philosophy and process, as well as funds and clients’ strategies, objectives and constraints.
- Develop and implement investment and trading strategies across various fixed income and credit mandates to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns.
- Oversee portfolio construction and management, trading, risk management, and performance attribution for fixed income portfolios.
- Oversee economic/market analysis and research in support of identification of investment opportunities and risk management.
- Collaborate with other investment teams and partners to integrate fixed income strategies into multi-asset portfolios.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, sell-side research, clients and partners.
- Contribute to macro and thematic insight within the broader investment team.
- Provide regular updates and insights on market developments and outlook, investment views, and portfolios’ performance.
- Mentor, coach and develop team members.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, client meetings, and other public forums.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in fixed income and/or credit portfolio management in a leadership position demonstrating a strong record of consistent performance and effective team leadership.
- Deep and comprehensive expertise across fixed income & credit markets (including both IG and High Yield), instruments, and advanced portfolio strategies.
- Proven leadership capability at a senior level, with the ability to influence teams and drive organizational impact.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and technological proficiency in portfolio management systems and analytics.
- Highly adept communicator with a ability to build deep rapport and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- CFA designation or an equivalent advanced degree preferred.
