About the role
- Play a meaningful role in providing support to individuals and their caregivers by coordinating, supervising, and providing behavioral services.
- Services will be provided from a strengths-based lens, utilizing evidence-based practices including Trauma Informed Care, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Skill-Based Treatment.
- Work with individuals with various diagnoses, including behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
- Provide functional behavioral analysis and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, naturalistic teaching, and adaptive life skills.
- Oversee the programming of and provide ongoing support and supervision to Behavior Technicians (BTs) and provide clinical training supervision to behavior specialists.
- Provide training and support to parents/caregivers as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
- Coordinate care across environments and with other treatment team and family members.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
- Experience working with children/adolescents with a variety of psychiatric and/or behavioral disorders, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.
- Ability to provide BACB supervision to other BCBA candidates and RBTs.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer).
- Licensure/Certification: BCBA certification in good standing.
- COBA (Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst) certification in good standing or ability to obtain COBA certification within 3 months of hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant. (Training will be provided, if not already certified).
- Ability to obtain and maintain physical crisis intervention training (as required by program).
