About the role

  • Assist in managing and optimizing firewalls, EDR, and IDS/IPS across our enterprise environment.
  • Support detection, analysis, and containment of security threats, including specialized participation in Vehicle Cybersecurity incidents.
  • Perform regular scans, assess risks, and work cross-functionally to implement remediation strategies.
  • Coordinate with headquarters in Korea and collaborate with various HATCI locations to align security standards.
  • Apply your knowledge of OS and networking to harden systems and improve our overall security posture.
  • Play a key role in achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Strong CS Fundamentals: A deep understanding of Operating Systems (Linux/Windows), Networking (TCP/IP stack), and System Architecture.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive "builder" mentality - someone who loves to take things apart to understand how they work.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively within a small, tight-knit team and communicate technical risks to diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel to various HATCI locations and potentially internationally to collaborate with global partners.
