About the role
- Explore and design dynamic and compelling user experiences.
- To build next-generation web applications which are efficient, reusable front-end abstractions and systems.
- Work closely with designers to implement versatile front-end solutions while embracing emerging standards and pushing the limits of what a browser can do.
- Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust applications and prototypes.
- Analyse system function and performance requirements to support design concepts.
- Work closely with Product managers, UX designers and back-end engineers to implement frontend solutions.
- Endorsing upcoming standards, launching, iterating, and making a difference.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of Experience with Bachelor's/Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Commanding grasp of HTML5, CSS3, Angular 10 and ability to write good semantic and accessible HTML.
- Understanding of CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, libraries.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities.
- Familiarity with interaction design & information architecture.
