About the role

  • Design and maintain enterprise data architecture including data models, integration patterns, and platform standards
  • Lead architecture for complex data initiatives involving data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and analytics ecosystems
  • Define, document, and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and reference architectures
  • Partner with Data Engineering, BI, AI/ML, and Product teams to translate business requirements into analytics solutions
  • Perform deep-dive data analysis, troubleshoot data quality and pipeline issues
  • Ensure security, privacy, and governance requirements are embedded in design
  • Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineers
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including performance optimization, cost efficiency, and data quality enhancements

Requirements

  • Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Pipelines, Power BI)
  • strong SQL skills and advanced conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling expertise
  • Experience with dbt (Cloud or Core), data warehousing, data lakes, modern ELT/ETL frameworks
  • troubleshooting complex data issues including root‑cause analysis, debugging, and data quality resolution
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Synapse
  • proficiency with data integration/orchestration tools such as ADF, Fabric Pipelines, or Airflow
  • Solid knowledge of data governance, privacy, lineage, access controls, compliance
  • Strong leadership, including the ability to mentor teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, with strong multi‑tasking and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 6–8+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics platform roles
