About the role
- The Regional Director of Finance ensures that the region achieves sustainable profit growth, demonstrates operational excellence in performance, and upholds the highest standards of compliance and integrity, positioning Hyatt’s portfolio for long-term success.
- The Regional Director of Finance is a strategic and analytical leader with strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Drive Financial Growth: Lead financial strategy across the region to maximize revenues, control costs, and deliver sustained profitability.
- Elevate Operational Excellence: Oversee and review hotel budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly financial results, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
- Safeguard Integrity: Ensure adherence to Hyatt Standard Operating Procedures, Uniform System of Accounts, GAAP/IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive hospitality finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in a multi-property or above-property finance leadership role.
- Proven track record as a Director of Finance or similar senior role within hotels.
- Strong financial systems expertise (Hyperion/Essbase, Excel advanced proficiency).
- Demonstrated leadership, team development, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally (for an estimated 50%).
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or Hospitality.
- Experience Preferred: MBA
- Any professional certifications – CPA, CHAE, ect
- Experience with function-specific systems
- Experience with Oracle
