About the role
- Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, email outreach, and social selling to generate new leads.
- Identify homeowners or businesses interested in solar installations, renewable energy systems, or energy-saving solutions.
- Qualify prospects based on project eligibility, interest level, and timeline.
- Schedule appointments or consultations for senior solar sales consultants.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and deal stages within the CRM.
- Follow up with prospects and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales funnel.
- Meet or exceed daily outreach and appointment-setting targets.
- Collaborate with sales teams to refine outreach messaging and campaign strategies.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), appointment setting, or lead generation role.
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or home improvement sales is highly preferred.
- Proven success with cold calling and outbound prospecting.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar tools.
- Comfortable working with KPIs, outreach targets, and performance metrics.
- Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven.
