About the role

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, email outreach, and social selling to generate new leads.
  • Identify homeowners or businesses interested in solar installations, renewable energy systems, or energy-saving solutions.
  • Qualify prospects based on project eligibility, interest level, and timeline.
  • Schedule appointments or consultations for senior solar sales consultants.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and deal stages within the CRM.
  • Follow up with prospects and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales funnel.
  • Meet or exceed daily outreach and appointment-setting targets.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to refine outreach messaging and campaign strategies.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), appointment setting, or lead generation role.
  • Experience in solar, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or home improvement sales is highly preferred.
  • Proven success with cold calling and outbound prospecting.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar tools.
  • Comfortable working with KPIs, outreach targets, and performance metrics.
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven.
