About the role

  • Provide strategic ownership, governance and configuration of workday modules such as advanced comp, benefits, absence, time-tracking and reporting & analytics.
  • Establish and enforce system governance, change management, and release management practices.
  • Manage and optimize all essential HR policies, including leave, pay rules, and time tracking, within the system.
  • Design and deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and workflows to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain alignment between the HRIS and the organization's evolving structure, including adding new departments and managing structural changes.
  • Implement robust controls to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Directly manage and mentor one Senior HRIS Analyst, setting clear priorities, performance expectations, and supporting professional development.
  • Ensure all consulting partners adhere to internal standards, security requirements, and the long-term system strategy.
  • Manage workload, review team deliverables, and ensure timely resolution of all system requests, issues, and enhancements.
  • Create scalable processes to facilitate effective global collaboration across different time zones.
  • Oversee all aspects of system configuration, business process frameworks, security roles, integrations, and reporting.
  • Ensure the HRIS supports compliance with applicable labor laws, data privacy regulations, and internal audit requirements.
  • Partner with Legal, IT, and Security teams on audits, risk assessments, and system controls.
  • Translate business needs into effective system solutions and process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver training, guidance, and change management support for system users.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on, in-depth Workday experience.
  • Proven success operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize HR processes by effectively leveraging technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in creating and utilizing Workday reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in complex or challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience using HR technology to support and drive organizational scaling.
