About the role

  • Establish a trusted brand in the market with customers and prospects across the financial institutions sector
  • Develop new-to-firm (N2F) relationships and new-to-existing (N2E) business through thoughtful sector specific advice and solutions
  • Deliver the bank’s broad suite of products and solutions to deepen customer relationships and advance relationship returns
  • Promote an in-depth understanding of the banks product suite across: credit and finance, capital markets, risk management (IRD, Rates and Commodities), liquidity, treasury management and wealth management
  • Manage the creditworthiness of the portfolio and its risks
  • Work with internal colleagues to identify and action risk in real-time
  • Lead the direction of overall portfolio of clients and prospects to align with the organization's culture, risk framework, strategic road map and revenue goals
  • Participate in sector conferences and networking events to keep a pulse on market intelligence and sector trends
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues across the organization to best meet the financial needs of our clients and drive a culture of inclusion

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of in financial institutions corporate banking or related fields
  • Proven ability to lead strategic client dialogue and business development efforts
  • Series 79 and 63 (or equivalent) required or obtained within 120 days or start date
