About the role
- Identify, assess, and mitigate credit, fraud, and operational risks across merchant services portfolio
- Provide expert risk oversight through transaction monitoring, data analysis, and escalation of high-risk merchants
- Conduct ongoing credit risk assessments for active merchant accounts
- Monitor transactional activity and account performance
- Lead investigations and escalations for high-risk accounts
- Create and maintain departmental procedures for account monitoring
- Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Compliance teams
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk
- Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Fiserv Merchant Acquiring Risk tools
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
