About the role
- Responsible for managing a high-performing sales team that works closely with branches and business banking partners to execute on effective sales strategies that are focused on the regional/business banking channel.
- Deliver revenue targets according to sales plan, providing accurate, timely and consistent sales reporting.
- Coaching, developing, and motivating the sales staff.
- Driving client-deal closures and ensuring successful participation in the branch/business banking ecosystem.
- Maintaining policies and procedures according to audit guidelines and creating new COI/referral partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 8 years proven successful sales management experience in financial institution, with an emphasis on the payments industry.
- Strong understanding of SMB and Business Banking client needs and payment processing solutions.
- Ability to motivate and manage a high-performing sales team, a results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and proven success in achieving ambitious targets.
- Expertise in virtual and in-person sales.
- Strong solution-oriented mindset, with strong deal-closing skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and juggle complex tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize technology effectively to manage workload and employee relationships.
- Approach challenges creatively and find solutions that benefit both employees and the bank.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Word and Excel, Salesforce, and ability to quickly learn additional systems/software.
- Fluency in an additional language.
