About the role
- Own the development and delivery of social listening initiatives for various client, new business, and strategy teams across the agency
- Contribute to social listening reporting (both recurring and ad hoc) primarily using Brandwatch or Meltwater.
- Leverage large volumes of social conversation to develop impactful, strategic insights and client-ready recommendations
- Add more depth using complementary tools like Glimpse, Spate, or Viral Moment
- Design measurement plans and methodologies for competitive analysis and custom segmentation of data, along with ongoing refinement of queries and processes.
- Attend client and vendor calls and meetings, as determined by a supervisor, with ability to speak to findings and analyses
- Serve as an in-house expert for how social listening can support broader agency needs
- Identify new tools and methods to enhance business intelligence and reporting to ensure HUNTER’s toolkit remains best in class
- Participate in planning meetings and provide recommendations on how data can be used to support a proposed strategy or approach
- Participate in agency brainstorm sessions
- Develop and foster relationships with vendors
- Actively participate in agency committees or departments as designated/asked
Requirements
- B.A. in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work performing social intelligence analysis and presenting to stakeholders, preferably at a marketing services agency or technology firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Up-to-date understanding of major social media platforms (Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn), and how to best perform social listening analysis incorporating these platforms
- Data-driven approach using both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques, and synthesize into a digestible format which includes key insights, performance metrics, and actionable recommendations.
