About the role
- Responsible for all global cybersecurity, privacy, and services.
- Leads teams focused on working with internal and external partners, helping to solve complex business issues from overall security strategy and execution to validation and compliance testing.
- Oversees a team dedicated to cybersecurity solutions and privacy compliance.
- Collaborates within the Information Services department and across all strategic business units as the architect and steward of global cybersecurity and privacy to protect all environments.
- Leads a team of Cybersecurity engineers responsible for designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting cybersecurity defenses.
- Develops and maintains a global Cybersecurity roadmap that meets the future needs of the business.
- Responsible for hiring, training, performance management, and other people leadership activities.
- Oversees the regular scanning and analysis of the company's networks, applications, and systems to identify vulnerabilities.
- Develops dashboards, KPIs, and actionable steps to enable environment owners to develop remediation strategies and reduce the attack surface.
- Ensures compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.
- Communicates effectively with other managers and stakeholders to align security measures with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or MIS, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience in a mid-size or larger enterprise, and 6+ years of Cybersecurity experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading a security team.
- Excellent understanding of network security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Proficient in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or (CISM) and CompTIA Security+.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to effectively communicate with members across the organization and external partners to deliver reliable technology solutions.
- Exceptional leadership skills to plan strategically and lead change effectively.
- Able to lead, coach, develop, and motivate a cohesive, high-performing team.
