About the role

  • Create and manage automation software projects from inception to completion.
  • Interact directly with senior Marketing and Engineering decision makers, as well as external vendors.
  • Support integration opportunities with Building Management System (BMS) and SCADA suppliers and integrators.
  • Maintain documentation and workflow for software integration of controllers.
  • Assist Project Manager with Hunter 360 Software product road map to prioritize new feature development and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, software QA, sales and marketing departments.
  • Meet with distributors, system and network integrators, users, and BMS suppliers to assist in spec and implementation efforts.
  • Create implementation checklist and instructions for integration steps.
  • Assist in global cell LTE/5G/+ communications installations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, golf/turf management, agronomy, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with computer networks and BMS/SCADA integration systems.
  • In depth knowledge of irrigation practices, including turf management, scheduling, design, pump, control systems, filtration, and winterization.
  • Knowledge of operational management and maintenance of commercial central control and automation integration.
  • Experience and skill with hydraulic engineering of pipe networks and safe water flow.
  • Technical knowledge of company and competitor products with emphasis on commercial-related products.
  • Ability to perform field service, troubleshoot irrigation systems, and recommend solutions.
  • Technical knowledge of irrigation systems, installation practices and troubleshooting methodology.
  • Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills, including problem analysis, planning, organizing, decisiveness, and decision-making judgment required.
  • Demonstrate project management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and to provide a high level of customer service and support.
  • Ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office 365 and other applications on Windows PC’s.
  • Ability to travel extensively, live in a strategic location within the territory, and work flexible hours.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record to meet requirement to be insured by company.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
