About the role

  • Manage and process loan applications from initial intake through to settlement
  • Assist in credit applications, including collecting information, structuring deals, and using internal systems to assess eligibility
  • Prepare loans for settlement by verifying settlement details and ensuring all requirements are complete and accurate
  • Review and verify financial and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate with clients, brokers, and lenders to gather required information and provide status updates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and internal systems
  • Assist in preparing application summaries and documentation for credit review
  • Monitor pipeline activity and follow up on outstanding requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Slack, email, and virtual meetings to ensure smooth operations
  • Take ownership of tasks end-to-end, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
  • Help test software features and functionality to support ongoing product improvements
  • Perform general administrative and virtual assistant tasks as needed
  • Support marketing efforts by assisting in the preparation of marketing videos and copy
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and applicable regulatory standards
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest improvements to enhance operations

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in lending operations, financial services, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume administrative tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with financial documents such as bank statements, credit reports, and tax records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and CRM platforms
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Australian lending processes is a plus but not required
