About the role
- Develop and implement the company's export strategy
- Identify and prospect new international markets
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with distributors and international clients
- Monitor sales and manage international customer relationships
- Collaborate with the Group representative for the US market
- Participate in international trade shows and commercial missions
- Analyze market trends and competitive activity
- Supervise a sales assistant and agents in the relevant countries
- Provide regular reporting to Management
Requirements
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in business or a technical field
- Minimum 7 years' international experience in export area manager roles
- At least 5 years' experience selling to European markets
- Excellent knowledge of the wine industry and export sales techniques
- Fluent English and proficiency in a second language
- Strong experience managing private-label (MDD) tenders
- Knowledge of administrative and customs procedures
