About the role

  • Develop and implement the company's export strategy
  • Identify and prospect new international markets
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with distributors and international clients
  • Monitor sales and manage international customer relationships
  • Collaborate with the Group representative for the US market
  • Participate in international trade shows and commercial missions
  • Analyze market trends and competitive activity
  • Supervise a sales assistant and agents in the relevant countries
  • Provide regular reporting to Management

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in business or a technical field
  • Minimum 7 years' international experience in export area manager roles
  • At least 5 years' experience selling to European markets
  • Excellent knowledge of the wine industry and export sales techniques
  • Fluent English and proficiency in a second language
  • Strong experience managing private-label (MDD) tenders
  • Knowledge of administrative and customs procedures
