About the role
- Responsible for the daily activities across multiple service functions area
- Performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment
- May apply intermediate mathematical skills
- May perform installation, implementation, client support, client services, client administration, customer service, enrollment and eligibility, claims processing, and call center operations
- Investigates and settles claims and customer service issues
- Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques
- Works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge
- Travel to a different clinic each day on rotation among Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach; occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Requirements
- Must be able/willing to travel between the 3 different locations in Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach (zip codes ranging from 33401, 33417, 33458, and 33410)
- You will travel to a different clinic each day
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Aptitude for quickly learning and navigating new technology, systems and applications as well as working knowledge of computers
- While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required
- Preferred: Undergraduate Degree
- Preferred: Clerical support experience in a healthcare environment
- Preferred: CNA or Medical Assistant experience
- Preferred: Quality experience
- Preferred: Medicare experience
- Preferred: Familiarity with medical terminology and/or ICD-10 codes
