About the role
- Member of the Clinical Quality Management Agile Team responsible for defining requirements, IT needs, and user stories while prioritizing the Team Backlog
- Maximize value produced by the team by ensuring user stories meet business needs and comply with the Definition of Done
- Engage with Product Manager or Operational Leader to learn priorities and pressing needs and represent operational team to define and prioritize requirements, initiatives, and/or user stories with the Agile Team
- Prepare and participate in Program Increments, including briefing Product Manager/Operational Leader and other Clinical Operations Leaders on recommended program vision, roadmap, and content
- Maintain team backlog; iteration planning; accepting user stories; assist with sequencing decisions; ensure and facilitate adequate user testing prior to push to production; coordinate with other Product Owners
- Support and/or produce system demonstration of fulfillment of user stories for stakeholders
- Serve as Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making while reporting progress to Product Manager/Operational Leader
- Monitor progress throughout the feature life-cycle, working closely with operational team to resolve questions and challenges, reduce risk to contract standards and minimize delays
- Document demands in ServiceNow or designated system; participate in daily, weekly, and monthly scrum activities
- Communicate and collaborate with Clinical Operations leadership and other Product Owners on progress, status, and challenges
Requirements
- Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position
- Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services)
- HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.
- Bachelor degree
- 5 years of technical experience with product ownership, or product management experience
- Certified SAFe® Product Owner/ Product Manager
- Work at Home Requirements: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
