Supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure.
Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture.
May work with stakeholders to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions.
Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions.
Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks.
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for Azure cloud and virtualization end-to-end architecture and IaaS, as well as PaaS and SaaS solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and experience required
5 or more years of experience in IT systems installation, operations, administration, and maintenance of virtualized servers / cloud systems
Proficient knowledge of infrastructure design and components, such as servers, operating systems, networks, and storage
Strong hands-on experience scripting/development skills in Shell, PowerShell, Python, Java, etc. in a corporate environment
Strong Hands-on experience with: Azure DevOps and Pipelines, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Kubernetes, GitHub, and configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
Experience using and administering: Databricks
Experience using Docker and Kubernetes
Familiar with modern big data process and API based webservice architecture.
Experience with architecting, implementing and maintaining highly available mission critical environments for 24x7 availability
Demonstrated history of working within deadlines and ability to work well under pressure
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
