About the role
- Responsible for the oversight of evaluation of member's needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state
- Work within specific guidelines and procedures
- Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems
- Guide members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and well-being of members
- Make decisions related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives
- Requires cross departmental collaboration
- Conduct briefings and area meetings
- Maintain frequent contact with other managers across the department
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a health related field
- 2 or more years of managed care experience in Medicare and/or Medicaid
- 1 or more years of management/leadership experience
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting trends
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Progressive experience in the health solutions industry, with emphasis on leading and managing teams
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Applicable State licensure in field of study (preferred)
- RN or LPN with current State Licensure (preferred)
- Previous experience in utilization management, discharge planning and/or home health or rehabilitation (preferred)
