About the role

  • perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements
  • conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
  • prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions
  • ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
  • provide financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget
  • analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reports
  • understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives
  • make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related Field
  • 2 - 5 years of Accounting/Finance related experience and/or recent graduate with intern experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Master's Degree in Accounting (preferred)
  • Certified Public Accountant license (preferred)
  • Prior experience in public or corporate accounting (preferred)
  • Strong technical accounting skills (preferred)
