About the role

  • Support Mine Operations supervisory team with daily administrative tasks including timesheets, tailgate minutes, safety meeting minutes, forecasted shift rosters
  • Assist with daily reporting, productivity metrics, and resource tracking
  • Support Intelex action item and investigation compliance within the department
  • Coordinate with Mine Training and Safety departments and support compliance with training documentation and DATS
  • Ensure notices, safety alerts, announcements, maps are posted and accurate in the Mine Operations working areas
  • Support supervisors in development of annual vacation calendars ensuring compliance with operational requirements
  • Support contractor management compliance and tracking of work performed within the department
  • Support SAP requirements including purchase requisitions, reservations, notifications, and service entry sheets
  • Provide support and assistance to new hires during the onboarding process
  • Assist daily operations with SLAM quality, JHA tracking, cross departmental paperwork
  • Perform various clerical tasks including scanning, copying, and emailing of documents
  • Collaborate with HR and Supervisory team to maintain accurate crew rosters
  • Maintain rental equipment tracking worksheets
  • Performs other responsibilities as required or as assigned by the department head

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably at an operating mine or similar industrial environment
  • Proficient user of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in SAP is considered an asset
  • Possess a valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver’s license and have access to personal transportation
