About the role
- Create drawing packages for utility customers
- Yellow-line wiring diagrams to match schematics and front view layouts to ensure drawing quality
- Create point-to-point panel wiring diagrams from given schematics and front views
- Create cable lists and connection drawings for field equipment
- Revise existing customer wiring diagrams for retrofit of new equipment
- Manage percent completes for the project and updating associated documents
- Calculate voltage drop with associated cables/wires
- Assist with drafting support during peak load times
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Direct technical experience in a similar field/position
- Working knowledge of reading electrical drawings
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS office suite
- Working knowledge of electrical circuits
- Ability to create wiring diagrams from scratch using schematic diagrams
- Ability to build cable schedules from wiring diagrams
