About the role
- Collaborate closely with Recruiters, HR Managers, and Hiring Managers
- Manage updates for candidates and job requisitions in our applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors)
- Coordinate and adjust interview schedules as needed and manage candidate travel and accommodation following company guidelines within the US
- Oversee the ordering, tracking, and reporting of candidate background checks, drug screens, and assessment tests in the US and Puerto Rico
- Draft and send offer letters to candidates
- Manage communications and timely responses from the Hubbell Careers external mailbox
- Ensure compliance with OFCCP documentation requirements
- Contribute to a positive and proactive candidate experience
- Support the management of the US and Puerto Rico centralized pre-employment procedures
Requirements
- A college degree or equivalent professional experience
- Expert-level English proficiency (written and verbal), required
- Foundational knowledge of U.S. employment law, particularly in hiring and background check practices, required
- Prior experience in supporting HR or Recruitment teams
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with SuccessFactors is advantageous
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills; proactive and urgent
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong customer service skills and experience in customer-facing roles
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
