About the role
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production schedules, quality standards, and on‑time delivery objectives
- Ensure a safe, compliant work environment aligned with OSHA, state, and local regulations
- Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, waste elimination, standardized work, and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain and enhance quality systems that support product conformance and customer satisfaction
- Develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and resource allocation
- Approve expenditures and ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and frontline teams to promote engagement, accountability, and high performance
- Create a culture focused on quality, customer service, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, waste elimination, process improvement)
- Demonstrated results in leading teams and improving operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills
- Skilled in problem solving, facilitation, and root cause analysis
- Proven ability to engage, develop, and motivate teams at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
