About the role

  • Responsible for assuring warranty return products are accurately diagnosed
  • Perform necessary tests and repairs to assure the desired level of performance
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair both electronics and mechanical assemblies
  • Operate automated and manual test equipment
  • Understand and be able to test and repair the assigned product lines
  • Publish accurate, detailed, and timely reports of failure analysis and repair activities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing or lab environment
  • 3 years’ experience with testing and failure analysis of electro-mechanical products
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot a device from the system level to the component level
  • Good understanding of the components and systems within an electro-mechanical device
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Soldering skills both through hole and surface mount
  • Knowledge of analog vs. digital signals
  • High school diploma or equivalent
