About the role
- Responsible for assuring warranty return products are accurately diagnosed
- Perform necessary tests and repairs to assure the desired level of performance
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair both electronics and mechanical assemblies
- Operate automated and manual test equipment
- Understand and be able to test and repair the assigned product lines
- Publish accurate, detailed, and timely reports of failure analysis and repair activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing or lab environment
- 3 years’ experience with testing and failure analysis of electro-mechanical products
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot a device from the system level to the component level
- Good understanding of the components and systems within an electro-mechanical device
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Soldering skills both through hole and surface mount
- Knowledge of analog vs. digital signals
- High school diploma or equivalent
