About the role
- Serve as a key contact and liaison between customers, field personnel, Marketing, Pricing, Engineering, and Manufacturing
- Interact with customers on an ongoing basis, handling requests and providing support
- Organize and prepare quotation proposals and review customer orders for acceptance
- Coordinate technical, commercial, export, and import requirements
- Provide support and back up to field sales and customers on product needs
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions
- Research and resolve Accounts Receivable issues
- Acknowledge and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Identify and assess customer needs to provide appropriate solutions
- Follow up on customer questions and complaints to ensure resolutions
- Process and expedite orders, forms, applications, and requests
- Collaborate with internal teams to solve customer request and issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1-3 years in a customer service role
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office, e-mail, and other PC application skills
- Must be able to effectively interpret and communicate information from ERP system
- Familiarity with SAP preferred; familiarity with OnBase order management system is a plus
- Positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
