About the role
- Manages a book of insurance business
- Serves as primary point of contact for large or complex clients
- Provides professional, courteous service to clients
- Owns and grows relationships with key clients
- Stays abreast of changes in the insurance industry
- Makes appropriate recommendations to clients
- Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated issues
- Prepares reports for management as required
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in an Account Manager role in brokerage environment required
- Large Commercial Account experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- P&C License required or able to obtain within 120 days from hire
- Advanced professional designation preferred (e.g. AAI, ARM, CIC, CPCU)
