About the role
- Provide critical support to customers through account management, claims management, client oversight, and underwriting services
- Coordinate and provide day-to-day service for employee benefits clients
- Serve as day-to-day contact and provide resolution for client questions and issues
- Manage client relationships and execute on all deliverables
- Advise and guide clients in compliance matters
- Develop presentations and facilitate preparation of open enrollment packets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 - 4 years of related experience working as an Account Manager, Account Representative and/or a Benefits Analyst in the employee benefits arena (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable)
- Must hold a valid CA Life Agent license or will obtain
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a big plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point; Knowledge of Project Management software and database software is preferred
