About the role
- Provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services
- Work collaboratively with the Producer and Account Team managing a book of business
- Coordinate and provide day-to-day service for employee benefits clients by maintaining client relationships, supporting client retention, and understanding client needs
- Serve as day-to-day contact and provide resolution for client questions and issues
- Manage claims and coverage issue resolution for clients’ employees when elevated from HR or Hub International’s MyBenefitsChampion call center
- Advise and guide clients in compliance matters
- Develop open enrollment presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint software and conducts benefits webinars
- Create and distribute MyBenefitsChampion communication materials
- Participate in and support new carrier, plan or vendor implementation including benefits administration system build-out and project management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 - 4 years of related experience working as an Account Manager, Account Representative and/or a Benefits Analyst in the employee benefits arena (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable)
- Must hold a valid CA Life Agent license or will obtain
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a big plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Knowledge of Project Management software and database software is preferred.
