💰 $70,000 - $80,000 per year

About the role

  • Provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services
  • Work collaboratively with the Producer and Account Team managing a book of business
  • Coordinate and provide day-to-day service for employee benefits clients by maintaining client relationships, supporting client retention, and understanding client needs
  • Serve as day-to-day contact and provide resolution for client questions and issues
  • Manage claims and coverage issue resolution for clients’ employees when elevated from HR or Hub International’s MyBenefitsChampion call center
  • Advise and guide clients in compliance matters
  • Develop open enrollment presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint software and conducts benefits webinars
  • Create and distribute MyBenefitsChampion communication materials
  • Participate in and support new carrier, plan or vendor implementation including benefits administration system build-out and project management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 - 4 years of related experience working as an Account Manager, Account Representative and/or a Benefits Analyst in the employee benefits arena (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable)
  • Must hold a valid CA Life Agent license or will obtain
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a big plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Project Management software and database software is preferred.
