About the role
- You’ll be working with insurance carriers and clients to resolve benefit inquiries, challenges, and claims issues
- You’ll advocate for the client and ensure prompt and thorough handling of accounts
- Service clients proactively anticipating and addressing their needs by keeping them up to date with relevant information
- Manage new client implementation and plan transfers, including master application and employee enrolment documents
- Handle plan amendments, including pricing requests and employee communication bulletins
- Prepare and attend client meetings - follow through with action items in a timely and concise manner
- Deliver employee benefits administration training and employee education sessions to clients
- Review and deliver to clients group insurance contracts and booklets from insurance carriers
Requirements
- An LLQP and Life License (or willing to obtain within six months of start)
- 5+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry in a client facing role
- A GBA, RPA or CEBS’ designation or actively pursuing
- A Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
- An intermediate or advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
