About the role
- Perform ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting)
- Prepare and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closings
- Produce management analyses and reports
- Handle payment transactions and perform account reconciliations
- Support budget planning and financial controlling
- Communicate with tax advisors, auditors and government authorities
- Contribute to the development and digitization of accounting processes
Requirements
- Completed commercial/business training, ideally with additional qualification as a financial accountant or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting or finance is an advantage
- Confident use of accounting software (e.g., DATEV, Lexware, SAP) and MS Office, especially Excel
- Careful, structured and responsible approach to work
- Strong numerical skills and a pronounced quality awareness
- Team player, discreet and committed
