About the role

  • Design and drive programs that build individual capability, enhance team effectiveness, and prepare leaders for the future
  • Partner with People & Culture, business leaders, and external providers to identify talent needs and create development strategies
  • Own creation and continuous improvement of onboarding programs to accelerate new-hire integration and engagement
  • Develop and execute talent development strategies aligned with business objectives and succession planning
  • Support performance management, career pathing, HiPo initiatives, and retention strategies
  • Design and deliver leadership development, mentorship programs, and emerging leader cohorts
  • Oversee end-to-end program design, delivery, communication, evaluation, and ROI reporting
  • Manage learning platforms/systems and use data to assess impact and improve programs
  • Facilitate internal workshops, team development sessions, offsites, and provide coaching/advisory support to people leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in training and development, with a proven track record in leadership program design and facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple learning initiatives from needs assessment to delivery
  • Expertise in blended learning design (in-person, virtual, blended)
  • Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of workforce planning and talent development
  • Creative and dynamic training designer who can build engaging, high-impact programs
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, comfortable with changing priorities and feedback-driven itineraries
  • Industry experience or experience in a similar environment (e.g., construction, field-based, or project-driven industries) preferred
  • Travel to other Coastal office locations as needed (expected 30%, including some overnight)
  • Ability to coach and advise people leaders
