About the role

  • Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline: Generate and qualify leads via Upwork, freelance platforms, LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals, and partnerships
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline with consistent monthly inflow
  • Qualify leads based on budget, authority, timeline, and technical feasibility
  • Track conversions across the sales funnel
  • Client Communication & Relationship Management: Conduct discovery and requirement-gathering calls
  • Act as the primary client-facing representative of the company
  • Build long-term client relationships focused on repeat business, upselling, and referrals
  • Handle negotiations, objections, and expectation setting professionally
  • Technical Pre-Sales & Solutioning: Lead early-stage technical discussions with clients
  • Propose suitable technology solutions and explain trade-offs (cost, scalability, timelines)
  • Ensure commitments are realistic, feasible, and commercially viable
  • Proposals, Pricing & Deal Closure: Prepare proposals, scopes, milestones, timelines, and pricing models
  • Coordinate with technical leads for accurate estimates
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and close deals
  • Full responsibility for deal closure and revenue realization
  • Revenue Targets & Performance: Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue targets
  • Improve deal quality, average project size, and predictability of revenue
  • Forecast revenue based on pipeline health
  • Coordination & Quality Ownership: Ensure scope clarity before contract signing
  • Avoid over-promising and ensure clean handover to delivery teams
  • Monitor client satisfaction and escalate risks early
  • Reporting & Transparency: Provide weekly sales activity reports and monthly revenue summaries
  • Share market insights, pricing trends, and improvement recommendations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales / business development (software or tech services preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized, target-driven, and ownership-oriented mindset
