About the role

  • Implementing and embedding the global HR strategy, processes and policies at the site, and actively contributing to their ongoing development
  • Providing strategic and operational advice to site management, leaders and employees on all HR-related matters
  • Supporting change initiatives, coaching leaders and promoting employee engagement and organizational development
  • Working closely with central HR functions, regional HR management and the HR Service Center
  • Implementing company-wide HR policies at the site and collaborating confidentially with the works council while complying with collective bargaining and employment law requirements
  • Coordinating quantitative and qualitative workforce planning at the site
  • Preparing, analyzing and evaluating HR metrics, reports and statistics to support informed management decisions

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on human resources
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ professional experience in HR, ideally as an HR Business Partner, HR generalist or specialist in an international manufacturing or industrial company
  • Solid experience working with the works council and excellent knowledge of labor and industrial relations law
  • Strong business acumen, high quality and accountability orientation, and a pragmatic, solution-focused working style
  • Assertiveness combined with diplomatic tact, trustworthiness and resilience, plus strong communication, advisory and coaching skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in continuously optimizing HR processes
  • Confident user of MS Office; knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
