About the role

  • Provide comprehensive support and advice to employees and managers on all operational and strategic HR matters
  • Responsible for personnel administration from onboarding to offboarding (contract drafting, master data maintenance, time management, personnel files, preparatory payroll tasks)
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and statutory requirements, and provide support on collective bargaining matters and in collaboration with the works council
  • Support performance management processes, goal setting and employee reviews
  • Assist with employee development activities, including training coordination, talent management and succession planning
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and produce reports for management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and processes

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, industrial/organizational psychology, human resources or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Solid knowledge of German employment law and works constitution (Betriebsverfassungsrecht)
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements, ideally in the IG Metall environment, is an advantage
  • Strong advisory and communication skills and a confident presence with managers and employees
  • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Assertiveness combined with empathy, and a high level of trustworthiness and discretion
  • Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken
