About the role
- Provide comprehensive support and advice to employees and managers on all operational and strategic HR matters
- Responsible for personnel administration from onboarding to offboarding (contract drafting, master data maintenance, time management, personnel files, preparatory payroll tasks)
- Ensure compliance with employment law and statutory requirements, and provide support on collective bargaining matters and in collaboration with the works council
- Support performance management processes, goal setting and employee reviews
- Assist with employee development activities, including training coordination, talent management and succession planning
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and produce reports for management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and processes
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, industrial/organizational psychology, human resources or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
- Solid knowledge of German employment law and works constitution (Betriebsverfassungsrecht)
- Experience with collective bargaining agreements, ideally in the IG Metall environment, is an advantage
- Strong advisory and communication skills and a confident presence with managers and employees
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Assertiveness combined with empathy, and a high level of trustworthiness and discretion
- Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken
