About the role

  • Lay out available architectural options, analyze engineering trade-offs, and articulate recommendations to meet product goals, ensuring they meet ambitious performance, security, and scalability goals across the full HW/FW/SW stack.
  • Design the architecture of AI systems and ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Oversee and guide multiple design review sessions across different projects, ensuring consistency in design choices and adherence to best practices.
  • Act as a key mentor for the team.
  • Work cross-functionally to understand existing portfolio of technologies, derive capabilities & cost functions, and construct an overall end-to-end product solution.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment through technical discussions, negotiations and executive reviews.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields
  • Strong understanding of SoC system fundamentals, including memory hierarchy, coherency, clocking, power domains, boot and reset, test, and debug methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in AI workload characteristics.
  • Experience with AI infrastructure solutions in production environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across organizations.
  • Outstanding documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Typically, 10-15 years experience.
