About the role

  • As a Field Service Engineer, you are the primary point of contact for our customers who require immediate on-site technical support
  • Your goal is to ensure the customers' operational readiness at all times
  • You achieve this by building on remote diagnostics and resolving problems as quickly as possible
  • You will have the opportunity to install, configure, maintain, and repair systems
  • In addition, you contribute to maintenance activities to minimize the risk of machine downtime
  • You work on highly complex machines, identify the causes of (including complex) problems, and provide optimal solutions for the customer

Requirements

  • Experience as an HP Field Service Engineer or as an HP Operator on HP printing presses
  • Completed technical training (at least intermediate or higher level) with knowledge in mechanics and electronics
  • Strong knowledge in: electronics (including reading circuit diagrams)
  • Mechanics
  • PCs, Windows software, basic networking knowledge
  • Pneumatics/Hydraulics
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (down to component level in electronics)
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English
  • Experience with the installation and disassembly of complex industrial products is an advantage
