About the role

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of digital printing technology and its applications in flexible packaging, conveying product features, benefits, and value to potential customers.
  • Engage with flexible packaging converters to assess their production needs and present solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Identify potential clients, nurture leads, and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and overall business strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, plant managers, and production teams within flexible packaging converters.
  • Utilize industry-specific knowledge to craft competitive sales strategies that position digital printing technology as a key differentiator.
  • Lead complex sales negotiations, manages client objections, and ensures timely and successful deal closures.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to stay ahead of market trends and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or commensurate work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in capital equipment sales to the flexible packaging converter industry.
  • Proven success in technical selling, solution-based sales, and managing complex sales cycles in high-value capital equipment.
