About the role
- Oversee the preparation, review, and timely delivery of client and carrier invoices.
- Ensure alignment of billing allocations based on client and carrier instructions.
- Supervise processing of fee agreements and managing of internal fee allocations in alignment with client and carrier requirements.
- Review calculation of surplus lines tax obligations for accuracy and alignment with state regulations.
- Supervise coordination with accounting to confirm carrier payment terms and ensure smooth payment processing.
- Monitor SOX compliance documentation to ensure adherence to billing and audit requirements.
- Provide coaching, feedback and support to Billing Analysts.
- Assign workloads, monitor productivity and ensure adherence to standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 4-6 years of billing, accounting, or insurance operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing practices, fee agreements, and premium financing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SOX controls or financial compliance processes.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
