About the role
- Own marketing execution across all channels, turning the CMO’s vision into clear, measurable plans that drive growth
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team across SEO, content, social, paid media, email, lifecycle, affiliates, and partnerships
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and dashboards to create focus, visibility, and accountability across channels
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align marketing with business priorities and product launches
- Lead organic growth through SEO and content, ensuring steady, high-quality demand over time
- Own social media strategy across organic and paid channels, with a consistent brand voice and measurable impact
- Direct paid acquisition with a strong focus on efficiency, CAC, and return on ad spend
- Own the full lifecycle and email experience, from onboarding and nurturing to retention and re-engagement
- Oversee affiliates, partnerships, influencers, and brand ambassador programs as scalable growth channels
- Drive a culture of testing, experimentation, and continuous optimization
- Identify and adopt new channels, tools, and technologies, including AI, when they create real value
- Manage marketing budgets carefully, ensuring spend is focused on highest-impact initiatives
- Report performance clearly to the CMO, focusing on insights, outcomes, and next actions
- Hire, mentor, and retain top marketing talent while setting clear expectations and career development paths for direct reports
- Build a results-driven, collaborative culture where marketing works tightly with the rest of the company
- Support other tasks or projects as assigned to meet team and business needs
Requirements
- Proven marketing leader with experience scaling acquisition and revenue through multi-channel programs
- Able to think strategically and operate hands-on, setting direction while diagnosing and fixing underperforming campaigns
- Strongly data-driven, comfortable working with analytics, dashboards, and performance metrics to guide decisions
- Builder mindset, with experience creating or significantly scaling marketing teams and programs
- Hands-on experience across key channels including SEO, paid media, social, email, lifecycle, content, and partnerships
- Resourceful and proactive, quick to diagnose issues and move to execution without unnecessary friction
- Clear and confident communicator with executives, peers, and teams, comfortable pushing back when needed
- Moves fast, makes decisions with conviction, and adjusts quickly based on results
- Experienced managing meaningful marketing budgets and building high-performing teams
- Familiar with modern marketing tools, automation platforms, AI-driven workflows, and remote-first environments
- Background in SaaS, web hosting, or SMB-focused technology companies is a plus
