About the role

  • Act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders — aligning people strategies with business goals, and providing thoughtful guidance on team health, performance, and engagement.
  • Drive org design and headcount planning , advising on team structure, role clarity, and growth paths.
  • Coach managers and emerging leaders , helping build leadership capability across teams.
  • Handle employee relations (probation periods, exit interviews, 90 days check-ins with line managers,...) and performance topics with sound judgment, empathy, and consistency.
  • Use people data (engagement, attrition, performance) to identify patterns and shape proactive interventions.
  • Lead change on the people side of restructures, team evolution, or cultural initiatives.
  • Own the full employee experience , from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring it’s scalable, human, and values-aligned.
  • Model and reinforce Hostaway’s values through everything you do — from advising leaders to driving programs.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in People Operations / HR Business Partner roles, ideally in a scaling, remote-first, or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on experience with org design, employee relations, coaching, and performance management.
  • A strategic thinker who’s also comfortable rolling up their sleeves and delivering day-to-day support.
  • Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a deep sense of integrity.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Someone who’s excited to bring clarity to ambiguity and structure to growth.
