About the role
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple related projects within a program portfolio
- Establish program governance, delivery frameworks, and reporting standards
- Manage cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project managers
- Track progress across initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts across projects and coordinate mitigation strategies
- Serve as the escalation point for program-level issues or blockers
- Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps and integrated project timelines
- Coordinate project managers and delivery teams to ensure consistent execution across initiatives
- Monitor program performance including schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Ensure program deliverables align with business priorities and enterprise architecture standards
- Act as the primary liaison between business units and technology delivery teams
- Translate business requirements into coordinated project plans
- Ensure technology initiatives support operational goals and long-term strategy
- Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings
- Coordinate system changes, process improvements, and technology rollouts across departments
- Ensure program activities follow enterprise governance standards and project management frameworks
- Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and governance committees where applicable
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, change management processes, and architecture standards
- Support program and department budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Coordinate resource allocation across projects and teams
- Track program benefits realization and ROI where applicable
- Provide regular program updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Prepare dashboards, presentations, and program status reports
- Communicate roadmap changes, risks, and major milestones
- Promote transparency and alignment across business and technology teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience managing complex business or technology programs
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving technology delivery teams
- Strong knowledge of program management frameworks and delivery methodologies
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Preferred certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) PgMP (Program Management Professional) Agile / Scrum certification Lean Six Sigma certification
