About the role
- Own and evolve the end-to-end cloud architecture of the Track & Trace SaaS platform, ensuring scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency
- Act as System Architect in a SAFe environment, providing architectural direction across multiple Agile Release Trains and teams
- Define and maintain architectural runway, reference architectures, and design standards for cloud-native solutions
- Lead architecture and design reviews, ensuring alignment with non-functional requirements and business outcomes
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to engineering teams, fostering engineering excellence and best practices
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering Leads, and DevOps to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Drive cloud modernization initiatives (e.g., multi-tenancy, observability, resilience, security-by-design)
- Identify technical risks early and proactively propose pragmatic, scalable solutions
- Support PI planning and system demos by ensuring architectural feasibility and technical alignment
- Coach and mentor engineers and architects, growing architectural maturity across the organization
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, software architecture, or cloud architecture roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong experience in software architecture and system design, including distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Solid foundation in software engineering, with the ability to evaluate implementation approaches and technical trade-offs
- Proven experience applying architectural patterns and designing for non-functional requirements (scalability, availability, security, performance)
- Practical experience working in Agile / SAFe environments with multiple cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including influencing architectural decisions across teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Ability to work Onsite on Hybrid (3+2) basis
