About the role

  • Develop, coordinate, and align volume & revenue forecasts for assigned businesses and/or channels.
  • Ensure that regional sales forecasts are visible, planned, and supported through the supply chain while delivering customer satisfaction and improving inventory and working capital.
  • Supervise a team of demand planners located in multiple geographies.
  • Coach and develop your team to continuously improve their skill set.
  • Interface with sales, marketing, and finance organizations, utilizing statistics, sales projects, and market intelligence to develop a rolling 18-month SKU level demand plan.
  • Work with finance to enable comparison and gap analyses between the demand forecasts and business financial goals.
  • Apply lean six sigma techniques to continuously improve processes and metrics.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in Demand Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area.
  • Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, marketing or supply chain management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Ability to work with large amount of data and knowledge of advanced analytics tools- Tableau/Power BI (Reports development)
  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
