About the role

  • Liaise with clients, EPC contractors and end users.
  • Prepare project schedule and monitor progress.
  • Participate in site meetings and progress reviews.
  • To lead projects from preliminary engineering, detail design, FAT, site installation, SAT and plant startup/ commissioning activities.
  • Manage variation orders.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
  • Ensure proper documentation (as-built drawings, test reports, manuals).
  • Provide technical support to clients and serve as customer contact for project/ service related issues.
  • Identify technical issues and assist in developing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electric/ Electronic/ Instrumentation/ Automation Control.
  • 6 years’ or above related work experience in oil and gas preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge and work experience in DCS/ SGS system.
  • Strong project execution and planning skills.
  • Ability to lead a project team as Lead Engineer.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read and review technical drawings.
  • Technical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Technical and safety certifications in oil and gas will be an added advantage.
  • Work experience on offshore platforms.
  • Knowledge of other skillsets such as Scada, PLCs, Safety/FGS systems, Cybersecurity, Networking, Virtualization platform would be benefit.
